Tour of Legacy and Traditions Rajasthan

Rajasthan, an ancient land of princes, palaces and preening peacocks, is renowned for its great monuments, exquisite art and culture of several centuries.

Day 01: Delhi - Arrival
Upon your arrival at the New Delhi Airport after the long and tiring jetlag a Rajasthan Travel Indias representative would be there to welcome you to Delhi with a garland of fresh fragrant flowers, and would then anoints your forehead with vermilion paste (Tilak) and click a picture that’ll become a part of the Rajasthan Travel Indias catalogue.

Once you enter the city all the jetlag would disappear as if pure magic as you see the new dawn and a glimpse of the city in the first sunlight and then the hustle bustle of the city with the great architectural monuments which have seen many eras go by.

Day 02: Delhi-Mandawa
After your morning breakfast you drive towards Mandawa in Rajasthan, India.

On arrival check in at a hotel with the assistance of the Rajasthan Holiday tour guide. Rest awhile and then in the afternoon move on for a sightseeing tour of Mandawa, dominated by an imposing mirage like fort. This region is famous for its havelis and Shekhawati paintings. After this exhilarating experience would move back to the hotel where you would be served Dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Mandawa-Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. The fort and palace made of the same reddish-pink sandstone lies outside the city walls. A region coveted by several Rajput clans, Bikaner is well known as the land of the finest riding camels, in the world popularly known as the camel country of Rajasthan, India. Tour the Forts, Camel Breeding farm and other interesting tourist attractions located in the area. Come back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04: Bikaner
After your morning breakfast you drive towards the Deshnoke Temple (35 kms / 1 hour) where you will have the opportunity to witness ritual offerings to the rats at the Karni Mata Temple (Deshnoke Temple). And then move back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: Bikaner-Jaisalmer
After your breakfast drive to Jaisalmer and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. You are free to spend the rest of the day as you like at your own leisure, to marvel the beautiful culture and harsh climatic conditions, it is located in the heart of the arid waste of the Thar Desert. Rightly called the “Museum City", it invokes vivid visions of love, velour and chivalry.

Day 06: Jaisalmer
Morning proceed for city sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer visiting the Jaisalmer Fort, havelis, Gadisar Tank and Bada Bagh. After that in the afternoon drive towards Sam to witness the sunset over sand dunes. Enjoy the Rajasthani backdrop as it is an experience to cherish. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur Known as 'SUN CITY', nested in the depths of the Thar Desert, is the stronghold of the Rathore clan, the capital of the former princely state of Marwar and on arrival, check-in at the hotel and enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

Day 08 : Jodhpur-Kumbhalgarh
Drive to Kumbhalgarh and check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay. Nature lovers can revel in the endless acres of greenery, sheltering many forms of wildlife at the game sanctuary which boasts of panthers, sloth bears, sambhars, wild boar and the rare grey jungle fowls. For the spiritual, at a short distance lie the 15th century Ranakpur Jain Temple and Charbhujaji as well as Tour the majestic Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan, India

Day 09 : Kumbhalgarh-Udaipur
After breakfast Rajasthan Travel Indias will drive you to Udaipur and arrange your stay at Hotel Taj Lake Palace, a heritage hotel. We will visit the famous site of Ranakpur en route. Ranakpur is renowned for its carved Jain temples in amber stone.

The main temple - covering an area of about 50,000 sq. ft., with 29 halls and about 1,400 distinctly carved pillars. The four images of Adinath are enshrined in the 'Chamukh'- the main temple. It is open on all four sides.

Images of Tirthankaras are carved on the mandaps with a shikhar on top of them. Supported by many columns, the three-storeyed temple has four small shrines. The temple's assembly hall has two huge bells weighing. When rung, the sounds of these bells echoed in the whole village. Upon arrival at Jodhpur we will have theme dinner exclusively for you.

Day 10 : Udaipur
Udaipur affords you yet another reason to sample the life style of the nobility with a morning city tour and a boat ride in the lake Pichola in the afternoon. See the tourist attractions of Udaipur and stay overnight at the hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Day 11: Udaipur-Kota
Drives to Kota situated on the eastern banks of river Chambal. And see the Chittaurgarh Fort en route. On arrival in Kota, check-in at a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12: Kota-Bundi-Ranthambore
After breakfast drive towards Ranthambore tour the city Bundi situated in the south-eastern part of Rajasthan, about 36 km from Kota. It is surrounded by Aravalli hills from three sides and by a massive wall on the other with four entrances. On arrival in Ranthambore check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Ranthambore-Jaipur
After breakfast set out on a jeep safari to the Ranthambore wilds and drive to Jaipur later in the afternoon. Ranthambore National Park is one of the best examples of the efforts in Project Tiger.

Day 14: Jaipur
After a lazy breakfast Rajasthan Travel Indias will arrange a city tour for you. We will visit all three forts of Jaipur namely- the Amber, the Jaigarh and the Nahargarh. Then we will visit other wonders like the Hawa Mahal- Palace of winds, the City Square & Palace, and Albert hall museum. You will love to watch the glittering city during evening. Jaipur has lots to offer you like marble inlays works, silver and kundan jewellery, block prints and bandhani textiles. You have night stay at Jaipur.

Day 15: Jaipur
Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and India's "Golden Triangle of Tourism". It is also known as "Pink city" and pink with beautifully constructed palaces, havelis and forts. You are free to spend the entire day at leisure. You may avail of an optional tour to Pushkar. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Day 16: Jaipur-Delhi
Drive to Delhi and on arrival, transfer to international Airport for onward flight.
