Abhaneri

Abhaneri is a small village located around 95 kms away from the "Pink City" of Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Known for its beautiful baoris (step wells) and the famous Harshat Mata temple, Abhaneri is supposed to have been established by Raja Chandra.

About Rajasthan

No more spectacular land exists in the whole world, no more stirring histories are as concentrated in any one region as Rajasthan,

where mountains have been thrown up from the burning sands of the desert,

Barmer Bhandarej

A trip to Barmer means a close look at rural Rajasthan, wherein you will find mud-walled houses decorated with motifs and Rajasthani attired in their traditional dresses.

The Kumbhani Rajputs well built Bara Baori the five-story step in 1732 AD. A secret tunnel to the palace connects a classic example of the Hindu style of architecture, the Bara Baoli.

Bambora

Soon after the death Emperor Aurangzeb, the Sisodias of Mewar took the opportunity to launch an attack on the Mughal powers that were crumbling slowly but steadily.

It was in 1711 AD when Maharaja Sangram II of the Sisodias dynasty fought a fierce battle against the Mughals on the banks of River Khari.

Baran

Solanki Rajputs ruled the city of Baran in 14th and 15th century. It could not be traced when the main town of twelve villages under Solanki Rajputs was named as Baran.

Bhilwara Churu in Rajasthan

There's another story attributed to how the place got its name. Bhilwara reportedly had a mint where coins known as 'Bhiladi' were minted and thus came the name of the city.

The town of Churu does not have much to offer to its visitors except for the few historical buildings like Ratangarh fort, Salasar Balaji Temple and Surana Haveli.

Deogarh Dhamli

Deogarh is also renowned as a school of miniature painting. Some Deogarh miniatures beautify the personal collection of the present Rawat Sahib.

Located off the beaten track, Dhamli is a refreshing change for anyone tired of the crowded Rajasthan cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Dhariyawad India Dholpur

A wonderful base to explore the Sitamata Wildlife Sanctuary and the Dhariyawad region, the fort cum hotel offers the best of modern day amenities to its delighted guests.

The brave rulers of Dholpur always did their best to resist every attempt to subjugate them, however, the city regularly suffered at the hands of the invading forces.
